Pennington Mobile Larder.Pennington Mobile Larder is open between 1300 and 1340 hrs every Thursday at St Marks’ Community Hall, Pennington, SO41 8EJ.
You can either register for membership at the event or contact FareShare Southern Central at Totton via their website, facebook or by phone. You will be asked for your name, an address, a telephone number and an email address, and the number of people in the household. |

Please bring your shopping bags, probably at least 2 of them! Some items may be frozen goods.
The average value of groceries for a family of 4 to take away is £40 - £50. Each week the available groceries are different and volunteers try to pack a reasonable share of everything to hand.
These groceries are collected from supermarkets because they are close to their use by date, end of line stock or incorrect labelling. They are all fit to use/eat. They are not ‘seconds’.
Previously, supermarkets sent this stock to landfill or incineration, wasting precious food and contributing to climate breakdown. FareShare, a national charity, has arrangements in place for this stock to be given a second chance to be used at give away prices.
The Larder is operated by volunteers. The groceries are provided by FareShare Southern Central (Totton depot).

- £5.00 for a family of 4 or more.
